In line with our 2030 commitment to achieving sustainable development and fostering economic and social progress in underserved communities in sub-Saharan Africa, we launched the Project “Raising Initiatives for Societal Empowerment (RISE)” at the PAHE Africa Gala in 2023.
Project RISE is a pivotal component of the Tess Foundation’s Medical Care Access Initiative. Its primary goal is to address the healthcare disparity in identified vulnerable rural communities and revolutionize healthcare in rural Africa by establishing a standardized clinic facility that will offer comprehensive and timely healthcare support.
The PAHE Africa Gala 2023, held on August 19th at the Federal Palace Hotel with the theme “Runway for Charity,” aimed to collaborate with potential sponsors and garner support for the proposed project. The gala featured a keynote speech by Senator Tejuosho highlighting the healthcare challenges in Africa, the Tess Foundation’s achievement in rural communities, the official launch of Project RISE, an art exhibition, and the Charity Runway.
